Being a cabin crew member is a great and exciting career that requires a lot of skills and qualities that maybe you never thought about it.


#1: You need to be a good communicator:
Communication is a critical factor for maintaining security and safety during the flight. As cabin crew members, you may need to feel comfortable alerting passengers about safety procedures with a clear tone, even sometimes you need to ferme 

 #2You like to be fit and healthy:

Being able to get a healthy lifestyle is imperative as a cabin crew, with all the pressure in the cabin you have to deal with all the time.Try to avoid alcohols and cigarettes.
 
#3You are flexible and adaptable to different situations:

You are able to work under any situation and pressure, you are calm and accept that your schedule can change any time for any reason so you can be a cabin crew.

#4: You are a good team player and a leadership: 
You are a team player, good leader you are responsible and reliable,  you can work with different other people, nationalities and believes, furthermore  different cultures and respecting all religions.

#5: You know what is Time management:

The time management in aviation is very important,  the crew need to be very good planners in their work, they need to plan from the time they wake up to get ready, go on time to the office for briefing and make it on time then go to the airport then to the aircraft, prepare it for boarding that to be on time as well to avoid delays.

#6You are attentive, aware and observant:
If you are aware and attnative to any situation, any weird remake from a passenger or it can be strange behavior, attentive to emergency situation like smoke or fire, and also sometimes you have to trust your feelings in all situations because all the required rules and regulations you learned and you know but somewhere you need your own judgment. 

 #7: You have a good general knowledge and good English:

In aviation, you may meet a lot of people from different backgrounds,cultures, nationalities and more, you will of sure have to talk to them, they maybe curious about where you are from? What is the best destination you flew? what is the time difference between your departure and arrival country? The currency they use in this country? They may ask you also : Why the turbulence happen? Why passengers feel dazy during turbulence? They may play with the rules with you like why it's not allowed to see the cockpit cabin or to check the first class.
You need to answer all of their questions and you can not say I don't know, or you will pass for unprofessional cabin crew.

#8: You are caring and professional:
You may say why care? Caring for example if a passenger has lost his flight connection you can not just say it is fine you will catch the next, for him it's very important because maybe he has an important meeting so you have to do your best to take his informations and tell the captain about it he may call the ground staff on arrival to facilitate his connection. So when he sees that he will appreciate you care about him this make a lot of differences he will fly again of sure with your airline so from passenger he will become a frequent flyer and loyal customers and you not just crew but a professional cabin crew.

#9: You need to be passionate, enthusiastic and curious eager to learn: 
When the customers see you are passionate about your work and enthusiastic they can feel and see it in your eyes, and it will show how the way you talk and smile. You are curious and eager to learn, which means you want to grow fast in your career. 





Being a cabin crew member is a passion before anything else, it is hard work with a lot of responsibilities, if you love your job you will be successful in your career.
