The best guidance to prevent making mistakes with dangerous goods for the flight

The holidays are coming up and I’m sure that most travelers have a lot of questions about Luggage, what is allowed and not allowed to not put ourselves in danger and others as well so it is much better to have a good understanding of it than to fall into mistakes.

When it comes to carrying items in your checked luggage or carry-on luggage, there are certain restriction, regulations and prohibitions on items set by airlines and airport security so always we have to check both of them.

Here are some common items not allowed in either checked or carry-on luggage include:

1. Firearms and ammunition.

2. Explosives, including fireworks and flares.

3. Flammable items such as gasoline, lighter fluid, and aerosol sprays.

4. Sharp objects like knives, scissors, and razor blades.

5. Sporting goods such as baseball bats, golf clubs, and pool cues.

6. Self-defense items like pepper spray and tasers.

7. Liquids over 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) in carry-on luggage.

8. Illegal substances like drugs and narcotics.

All this rules are made by IATA “ International Air Transport Association” , and they made as well a simple and clear table to make it easy for travelers, my advice is to keep a copy with you when you are flying :

All above list is just a simple regulations and rules that is clear enough but my question is, as travel I will not mostly carry explosives or sure or sharp objects But can I carry my lighter or my Babyliss? Can I carry my power bank and my kid’s scooter? And which one has to be in my suitcase or hand luggage, it is confusing, isn't it?

Here are some examples:

1- Lighters:

For Smokers, yes they can carry only small cigarette lighters on the plane butz on them.

Note: the lighter needs to be absorbable liquid.
